About Course

This dynamic symposium and workshop is designed for practising Environmental Health Practitioners across all spheres of government and the private sector. The programme combines interactive sessions, real-world case studies, expert insights, online evaluations, and reflective dialogue, providing a powerful platform to rethink and reimagine Environmental Health practice. Participants will explore essential Environmental Health interventions and management principles while engaging with strategies that address systemic challenges. DAY 1- Strengthening Food Safety and Control Systems
Focus areas include regulatory frameworks, multi-stakeholder perspectives, accreditation, advertising, and emerging contaminants in food environments

DAY 2- Environmental Health in a Changing Climate
Focus areas include disaster preparedness, climate change, cross-disciplinary environmental management, chemical exposures, and public health impacts of urban lifestyles.

DAY 3- Management of Public Health Nuisances
Focus areas include One Health, healthcare waste, indoor air quality, communicable diseases, and rural health challenges.

DAY 4- Ethics, Policy, and Leadership in Environmental Health Practice
Focus areas include Professional identity, policy debates, ethical frameworks, moral development, for continuous professional development.
